Laurie holds her Masters in Education and is a lifelong athlete. Growing up as a competitive swimmer, and then after college finding her passion as a runner. Under her belt, 2x marathoner and Boston Qualifier (3:34) + countless half marathons (PR 1:41). Her diverse background in fitness and yoga include certifications from ACE (certified Health Coach), certified REVO₂LUTION RUNNING™ run coach, and Yoga Alliance 200 HR RYT.
Laurie completed her yoga teacher training in Okinawa, Japan. Studying under Rebecca Cohen. Additionally she holds certifications in Yin Yoga + Yoga on a Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP Yoga), and Children’s Yoga. Since 2010, practicing various styles of yoga, influenced the most by Bikram, Vinyasa, and Iyengar.
